About Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy is a scientific practice that uses food, supplementary nutrients and cleansing procedures to improve health.

It seeks to understand how symptoms, disease and imbalance came to be. It does this with consideration of the whole person: Their unique constitution, diet and lifestyle habits, environmental and occupational factors including stress and chemical exposures, family history and predispositions. With this understanding we can build a dietary prescription that supports your individual needs. Programs are designed to activate the body's pathways of detoxification, repair cellular damage and rebuild vitality to improve symptoms. Throughout our time together you will also learn how to minimise exposure to toxins, manage stress, support your vital organ functions and optimise your body's natural detox and healing mechanisms.

Only by gaining true insite into the contributing factors of disease

can we begin to make dietary and lifestyle choices that steers us towards true health and vitality.

About Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient science birthed in India, dating back over 5000 years.

It's a system of understanding the external environment through the five elements (much like traditional chinese medicine), and how this relates to our internal environment.

With this knowledge we can reveal our unique constitution: our true nature. Working with our unique constitution (prakruti) with consideration of our curent imbalances (vikruti) I can build a dietary and lifestyle program aimed at restoring health.

As a healing system Ayurveda draws upon diet and lifestyle practices; herbs, oils, breathwork, meditation, mudra amd many more modalities, to restore harmony and balance to the body and mind.

On top of this, my Ayurvedic programs aim to equip you with the knowledge to understand your dosha (your body's particular patterns or 'fault lines'), recognise the first symptoms of imbalance when they occur at different stages in life and gives you the tools and understanding to take steps to address them before disease takes roots.

Ayurveda is a truly holistic framework for health and healing.
