Meet Vicky
Nutritional Therapist
Ayurvedic diet & lifestyle coach
I believe that the body has the innate ability to heal; once provided with the optimal environment and essential ingredients to thrive.

My practice seeks to understand the body as a whole: how the organs and bodily systems function, not in isolation from each other but as an interconnected system and considers multiple factors that promote either health or disease.
My special interests lie in gut health, hormones and women's health including preconception, pregnancy & postnatal nutrition.

I also have a passion for addressing early imbalances through health maintenance assessments.

These allow for small adjustments to be made with your diet and lifestyle; bringing your system back into balance before disease takes root in the body. You can think of this like an MOT with the view of optimising your health.
My previous training as an NHS Midwife has informed the way I work; seeking to work with evidence based research. However I also have great respect for the ancient healing arts and draw upon the time tested wisdom of nature and the eastern medical systems of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese medicine to gain insight into how your symptoms are interconnected.

*Please note that I no longer work in a clinical role as a midwife and therefore the services I provide are in Nutritional Therapy and Ayurvedic coaching only.

Vicky put me on a plan to help with digestive problems that had been troubling me for years. It began fairly strict but over time she adjusted the plan based on how my symptoms changed and I found huge relief. No more bloating, I felt comfortable after meals, I have more energy and as an added bonus I lost a bit of suborn excess weight. The plan also taught me a lot about the foods which cause me the most problems, which has allowed me to understand my digestion and adjust my diet based on the feedback my body gives.

I had been struggling with rosacea and acne/ skin problems for over two years before working with Vicky. I had tried everything, seeing no improvements. Within the first 2 weeks I began to notice a change. It took three months to completely clear and my skin is now glowing. I also found other symptoms improved as a result of addressing my body's toxic load and improving the quality of my nutrition.

I found Vicky's nutritional interpretation very insightful. It seemed that many of my symptoms were connected and had been developing throughout my life. I learned how to make better choices to support my body during different seasons, how to recognise my patterns and the first signs of imbalance in my body. I now have some knowledge and tools that will serve me in the future in keeping my health on track.
